Bus routes 352, 370, 422, 423, 426, 428, and M30 all have stops along King Street, either almost right in front of Off Ya Tree Newtown, or less than 300 metres away just past Watkin Street. Newtown Station is also within 350 metres of the Off Ya Tree store, with routes T1, T2, and T3 usually having stops at this station. While there are a few taxi zones along King Street, the same can't be said for regular street parking, so if you are planning on driving, plan to either use the Dendy Newtown Car Park - accessible via Lennox Street and open 24 hours a day - or the Newtown Central Car Park close to Newtown Station and open from 5am through to midnight, except on public holidays.

We'd love to offer tattoos at Off Ya Tree Newtown, but at the moment our on-site Punktured studio only offers piercing. But not just any piercing; our professional piercers are able to perform all manner of piercings, from your standard facial, ear, and body piercings, through to advanced dermal, surface, and industrial piercings, and genital piercings. If you are considering a genital piercing, you will need to be older than 18 years of age, and produce photo ID. Photo ID is actually required for all types of piercings, regardless of age, and if you're younger than 18 years, you may also have to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Standard piercings start at $15, excluding jewellery and after care, with advanced piercings costing $20, and genital piercings $50, also excluding jewellery and aftercare.

You should call ahead to check if the piercer on duty is trained for advanced and genital piercings, but all piercings are strictly walk-in only. We don't take bookings.
